October 1997 Meeting: Two of Chapter D's newer members receive their Level I patches. They are Charlie Croxton & Jung Yoon.
January 1998 Meeting: One of Chapter D's intrepid Ride Coordinators receives his Level I patch. None other than a good friend and real gentleman, Vernon Cook
March 1998 Chapter Meeting: Vernon Cook is moving right along. Here he moves up to Level II of the GWRRA Rider Program.
March 1998 District Staff Meeting in Lynchburg: Chapter D's Educators receive their Level IV Honors. Kathy Hooper is Master Tour Rider #1810 and Chris Hooper is Master Tour Rider # 1811.
April 19, 1998 Spring Picnic and Bike Show: Jung Yoon took advantage of the Co-Rider Seminar at Rally in the Valley and here she moves up to Level II. Congratulations Jung!
April 19, 1998 Spring Picnic and Bike Show: Our 1998 Chapter Directors, Steve and Linda Whitmer move up to Level IV of the GWRRA Rider Program. Linda is Master Tour Rider # 1899 and Steve is Master Tour Rider # 1900. They are the best kind of leaders - LEADING BY EXAMPLE!
Chapter D's May Meeting: Now it was Charlie Croxton's turn to put his ERC certification to work. Here he moves up to Level II. "Congratulations Charlie"
Chapter D's May Meeting: Because Ray & Ann McCauley ride a trike, they have not been able to find an ERC. But, this year at the Region N Rally, the first Trike ERC was presented by our own 1998 Region N Educator, Joe Allen. Well, Ray & Ann made a bee-line to that Rally just for the Trike ERC. Here they receive recognition as they move up two Levels to Level III. "Way to GO you two. You make our chapter proud."
February 1999 Meeting: Charlie Croxton moves up to Level III. "Way to Go Charlie"
April 1999 Meeting: Our Chapter Treasurer, Bill Hubbard and Barbara Doane, accept their Level I patches. We are proud that our staff take Rider Education to heart. Congratulations to two fine members.
May 1999 Meeting: Kathy Elder joins the ranks of the GWRRA Rider Education recipients. Here she receives her Level I patch. Way to Go Kathy!
