Our Asst. District Directors (East)
Dennis & Kristen Weston
We are Dennis and Kristen Weston and have excitedly accepted the position of Assistant District Directors (East). We look forward to serving GWRRA and all of the Members.
After serving 22 years in the U.S. Navy, Dennis retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer and is currently under contract as a Systems Administrator for HP. Kristen, who also served in the U.S. Navy, works as an accountant for storage company. We reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia where we have lived for the past 15 years and raised our two daughters.
We joined GWRRA in 2004 and jumped right into the mix and have had nothing but fun. We have held the positions of Newsletter Editor, Web Master, Assistant Chapter Directors and Chapter Directors for the best chapter on the East coast, VA-B "Wings by the Sea". Dennis is the Webmaster for Region N and the Virginia District. Kristen is the Primary for the National Newsletter Contest Coordinator. Our current ride is a 2004 Candy Black Cherry GL1800A decked out in red lights and Superman motif. We are both Level 3 in Rider Education and Dennis is a Certified LTD Trainer and a GWRRA Road Captain.
When not riding and working, we spend time at the gym trying to work off all the sweets from the ice cream rides. While Dennis attempts to keep up with Lance Armstrong, Kristen just tries to keep up! We are honored to be working with the Membership Enhancement Division Team as the Virginia 2010 - 2011 Distict Couple of the Year and hope you will embrace us as your new Assistant District Directors. If you ever see our Superman bike on the road, please stop, introduce yourself and say hello.
